St. Jacob cathedral
Cathedral of St. Jacob is one of the most important architectural achievements of the 15th and 16th century on Croatian soil. Because of its exceptional value the cathedral in 2000. was included in the UNESCO list of world cultural heritage. Sibenik’s Cathedral of St. Jacob, surely one of the most significant monuments of not only Croatian but also world culture heritage. In the dense urban structure of the city, on the site of an older church, the church was built in the shape of three-aisled basilica with three apses.
