Fortress St. Nicolas
Fortress St. Nicholas is located at the entrance to the St. Anthony canal, built in the 16th century to defend the city from Turkish attacks from the sea. It was designed by the Venetian army builder Michiele Sammichella. The lower parts are built of white stone and the upper was made of brick. Fortress St. Nicholas belongs to the strongest naval fortifications on the Croatian Adriatic.
Krka National Park
Krka National Park is the seventh national park in Croatia, known for its many lakes and waterfalls. Krka National Park is located in central Dalmatia on the downstream Miljevci, and only a few kilometers northeast of the city of Sibenik. It covers an area along the river Krka springs at the foot of the Dinara mountain near Knin, flows through a canyon 75 km long, flows through Prokljansko lake and flows into the Bay of Sibenik.
Šibenik City Museum
Sibenik museum was established on December 20th 1925. The occasion was the 1000th anniversary of the Croatian kingdom, and is located in the former Duke's Palace near the Cathedral. Duke's palace is part of the coastal defense system of the city and was built in the 13th-14th century.
Kornati National Park
Kornati Islands are located in central Dalmatia, west of Sibenik. Islands consist of about 150 islets that fall on the area of 320 km2. The islands were in 1980. declared a national park. Church of St. Lawrence was built in the second half of the 18 facade of the church, there is a prominent portal with modest Baroque lintel.
